Terms & Conditions

Full Refund: Cancel up to 24 hours before your session for a full refund.

Late Cancellation & No-Show: Cancellations less than 24 hours before incur 50 % of the session fee. No-shows incur 100 % of the session fee.

Limitation of Liability: BrightBlack Counselling’s liability is limited to the total fees you have paid in the preceding six months.

Emergency Protocol: Counselling is not crisis intervention. If you are in crisis, please call 000 or Lifeline on 13 11 14.

Online Session Requirements: You agree to provide a private, secure space. If technical issues interrupt the session, we will attempt to reconnect for up to 10 minutes, then reschedule at no extra charge.

In-Home Visit Safety: In-home sessions may require a brief safety assessment. The counsellor reserves the right to postpone or relocate the session if the environment is deemed unsafe.

Intellectual Property: All materials (handouts, worksheets, etc.) remain © BrightBlack Counselling and may not be shared or reproduced.

Force Majeure: Neither party is liable for delays or failures due to events beyond reasonable control (e.g., natural disasters, government restrictions).
